Athens Park’s 2026 Youth Tennis Classes Combine Sports and STEM; Families Should Confirm Fall Sessions

ATHENS VILLAGE, LOS ANGELES COUNTY — October 31, 2026. A nonprofit tennis program launched at Athens Park has offered local families a lower-cost way to introduce children and beginners to the sport while exploring science, technology, engineering and math.

LoveSetMatch announced a new Athens Park program on July 23, 2026, with Saturday classes at the tennis courts near 12742 Athens Way, Los Angeles, CA 90061. Its published summer schedule listed 9–10 a.m. for ages 6–12 and 10–11 a.m. for beginners age 13 and older.

Fees and opportunities

The nonprofit advertised a $10 registration and court fee per youth covering one month and noted that scholarships were available. Its method combines coaching with concepts from STEM education. Volunteers interested in supporting youth recreation were also invited to contact the group.
